Jeannine Rowden is an award-winning music director, conductor, pianist, organist, vocal pedagogue, arranger, and orchestrator whose career spans over four decades of performance, education, and artistic leadership across the United States and internationally. With more than 250 productions and 1,000 performances to her credit, she has performed from Carnegie Hall to Westminster Abbey, and has served as artist consultant to Broadway performers. Her regional credits include Houston’s Theatre Under The Stars, while her New York credits as director and producer include Off-Broadway venues such as Actors’ Temple Theatre. Her collaborative and vocal direction work includes engagements with Willie Nelson, Anika Noni Rose, Andrew Lippa, Kaitlin Hopkins, Kevin Cahoon and Craig Schulman, as well as for President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush. As founder and director of Rowden Music Studio, Jeannine coaches pre-professional and professional clients while maintaining an international teaching practice. Certified in the Vocal Power Method by Elisabeth Howard, Somatic Voicework™ (LoVetri Method) at the University of Michigan, and Advanced Vocal Pedagogy at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, she brings rigorous training to every collaboration. Her extensive professional experience in performance, education, and artist development informs her work on stage, in rehearsal, and in the studio.
